Do I need a referral to be seen?+
Many families are referred by their pediatrician, but you're welcome to call us directly. We accept most major insurances and some Medicaid plans; some plans require a referral — our office can help you confirm what your plan needs, and our staff handles approvals and authorizations for you.
What ages does the practice treat?+
Dr. Freedman specializes in pediatric, adolescent, and young adult endocrinology — caring for patients from birth up until 18.
What should we bring to the first appointment?+
Please bring your insurance card and photo ID, your child's growth and immunization records, a list of current medications, and any recent lab work or imaging from other providers.
What does Dr. Freedman treat?+
Common concerns include growth and short stature, thyroid abnormalities, early or delayed puberty, menstrual disorders, hirsutism, and bone, weight, and metabolic health.
How do I get my child's lab results?+
Results are reviewed by Dr. Freedman and shared with you directly. Call our office anytime at 954-447-1198 with questions about your child's care.
